Braised Savory Potatoes 红烧土豆

I enjoy any potatoes recipes, whether they are baked, stewed, fried, grilled, boiled or steamed.
So today I'm going to prepared a very simple recipes of Braised Potatoes. It's go along with white steam rice.
I'm using chinese dried mushroom to double up the flavor together with the fragrant from the spice's it made the gravy more tasty.
I'm also adding some holland bean and carrot to made the dishes more colorful and nutrition.
Ingredients 1 Chinese Mushroom - premium size [soaked until soften] 3-4 Piece Black Fungus Mushroom [soaked until soften] 1 Piece Potato - cut slices [soaked in water after peeled off to prevent discoloration] 1/4 Cup Carrot - cut slices 5-6 Holland Bean - peel off skin 250ml Water | Water Mushroom
Spice 5-6 Whole White Peppercorn [crushed the peppercorn] 3-4 Whole Black Peppercorn [crushed the peppercorn]
1 Stick Cinnamon 1 Piece Anise Star 1 Piece Bay Leaf 2 Pieces Clove Seasoning 1/2 Tbsp Mushroom Sauce 1/2 Tsp Dark Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Sesame Oils 1/4 Tsp Seasoning 1/4 Tsp Ginger Powder 3/4 Tsp Sugar 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
Method
1. Fried the holland bean for 1-2 second and potatoes and set aside.
2. Saute the peppercorn and spices until fragrant and add in black fungus, mushroom and carrot. 3. Then add in water mushroom and potatoes together with seasoning and cover lid estimated 15-20 minutes cooked. 4. Add in holland bean for decoration.
